I use dream matte mousse and haven't had any problems, i have been using it for years and wouldn't use any other foundation. my opinion it goes on smooth and of course it does rub off on clothing a little bit because it has the powder mixed in with the liquid so that you aren't using both liquid and powder concealers.Have anybody tried Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse foundation?
All makeup gets into your pores. This foundation is a lighter foundation that if you chose the right color for your skin tone no one can tell you are wearing it. that is true with all foundations. Also, what works for one person is not necessarily going to work for you also. That is why there are so many types of foundation out there. Factors that are key in choosing a foundation are: What is your skin type? (Dry, oily, normal/combo) What type of coverage are you looking for? (Natural, heavy, matte, medium....) and of course choosing the correct shade. Different formulas are made for different skin types and coverage.
Yes actually I got it yesterday. I have really oily skin and it works really well. Yeah it's oil free and it doesn't clog pores.

Yeah I tried it but it was kinda clumpy. I would'nt recommend it. Yoiu should try Maybelline pure. make up, I use that and it goes on really smoothly, it does'nt clog pores, it is oil-free, and 50% water! I absolutley love it! Hope that helps!
actaully it's not , for some people like me it did clog pores and personnaly like u know how they say it feels like a cloud or like ur wearing njothijng, it's not true i thought it was a heavy product and after a couple of hours it feels like it'smelting off ur face i din'tike it at all and it did clog my pores and it does contain oil so dont use it if ur woried about getting pimples, and oh i suggest use the pure one from maybelline that is a good product it's oil free and wont clog pores i use it and it never gave me pimples i like actaully and oh i knopw people said it din't but if u hava had acne problems becuase of oil foundations then this one will clog pores for some people it doesn'yt beacuse thier skin doens't recat to oil it wont clog pores but if u had probelms then dont use this foundation
It didn't clog my pores, but it doesn't go one very smooth. It gets clumpy and I always end up getting it in my hair. It also gets on clothing when you put on a shirt or hug someone. I wouldn't really recommend it.

Does drugstore makeup get discontinued alot? like loreal, maybelline?
Ive found perfect shadow, lipstick, foundation by various brand like loreal, maybelline, almay, i notice its gets discontinued maybe after some years, then im at a loss and so frustrated on what to buy next

it happens with high-end cosmetics as well. i stumbled upon my favorite red lipstick in a drugstore after the color i wore was discontinued by Chanel. it's based on trends and sales.
and i hate it too. i find the perfect color and then all of a sudden it goes away. i know there are companies in department stores who say they will match your favorite color, but it usually costs a small fortune. i tend to experiment with products found in beauty supply and drugstores until i find the right color by another brand.c++

Why use liquid? Use a pencil or cake with a brush for perfect control. The liquid eyeliner is like hard core paint. Not for nice girls or day wear in my opinion. Perfect for that vampire costume you've been dying to wear...
Actually Avon makes a very nice liquid eyeliner. ';Perfect Wear Eyewriter';. It comes in 4 shades and wears very well all day. The price is right too. It is waterproof and creates nice sharp definition. Hope this helps. For younger customers their ';Mark'; line is perfect. Check it out!

The lady helping told me that the Natural Ivory 3 has PINK undertones in it. The Porcelain Ivory 2 is what you would buy if you wanted yellow undertones.

oh no. i hate great lash mascara. i dont know if its just because i have really long eyelashes and there really thin, but it makes my eyelashes look even thinner %26amp; clumpy. i dont reccomend it.
I didn't like it because it takes FOREVER to dry! I have very deep-set eyes, and as soon as I blinked my eyes I had mascara all over my face! I threw it away after the second day...
However, I do like Maybelline's Sky High Curves mascara -- it dries faster, and is one of the few drugstore-brand mascaras that keeps the curl in my lashes! (Yes, I use an eyelash curler, but a lot of mascaras seem to straighten my lashes!) It also does a fairly good job of lengthening, and is not as clumpy as some brands.

Personally, it irritated my eyes, made them feel itchy and weird, as well as being difficult when I applied it. It clumped easier than a lot of other brands, and just felt awkward on my lashes.
I do love Sephora brand mascaras, though - you could check into those for really consistently great mascara. It never clumps and always feels lightweight, while still packing a punch visually.

Maybelline Dream foundations?
So I have the mousse, and I have it in the lightest shade which is too white for me. I think I'm going to get the powder, should I get the lightest shade? I am really white haha, but summers coming up so I might get tan anyway.Maybelline Dream foundations?

i probably recommend you getting a lighter shade of foundation and buying a cute bronzer.
i think using a foundation alone in the summer time is overrated because when its hot it makes your face cakey and creates makeup lines. in the summer time i ususally buy like a shade or 2 lighter than my face and use it as a base and put on a pretty bronzer on top of it because it last longer and makes you look more natural for the summer time
well if you disagree with me and decide to get that fabulous darker color than i would decide to do a dewy trick thing that i do so your foundation looks natural. first you take your lovely foundation put it on your hand, foundation brush, or whatever you use to apply makeup and put a face lotion and blend/mix it together. it should be a nice creamy color and it should look like a foundation color... when you are done apply it on your face and wa la there is your natural beautiful color for the summertime :)
(ps- dont use glittery lotions or perfume lotions cause they will dry out your skin and irritate it)

I went to the store to buy Maybelliene Liquid Mousse but I was testing it out and put it on my finger and it was like water! So I wound up not buying it.

I've used both these mascaras in the past, but I don't recommend them. Great Lash won't clump, but it doesn't do much for lengthening. I have short lashes like yours, and while Lash Blast lengthened them somewhat, I have found that Maybelline Define-A-Lash is the best drugstore mascara out there. It's in a green tube. I have used both and personally, I like the dream mousse. It works wonders and it makes your face so even and soft looking. It also adds moisture and doesn't dry out your skin. For the dark circles and other dark area's use a concealer that is a couple of colors lighter than your foundation. Just dab it on and use as much as you need. Then don't rub the foundation over the concealor, dab it on lightly and blend. Hope this helps. Have a great day!

I love Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation! I've tried the expensive ones and the cheap liquidy ones, and I found that Maybelline dream matte works the best. It evens out my whole skin tone and makes it look fresh and flawless! Not only that, but it's just so light and airy. I use the pure beige skin tone. I also decided to stock up on it, just in case.
Dream Matte Mousse is GREAT for a soft look. It is a great finish. Matte but not to the point where you look cakey!
Definitely something I recommend. Try their mousse blush as well. IT IS awesome for it's price point.

I don't know if it's either, but as far as anything being hypoallergenic, that's a useless term. All it means is that they tested it on x amount of people and they didn't have reactions to it. Unless you know what it is that your skin is sensitive to, you won't be able to tell if your skin will have a bad reaction to the ingredients in the make up. Everyone has different expectations, and different ';wants and needs'; So i suggest you try it out yourself. So buy the regular, and try it. There is no knowing unless you try it YOURSELF. Good luck! But don't apply it too heavy and make sure you curl your lashes ( if you want).

Until one time I used a friend's mascara and it happened to be the Colossal Volume Express. It worked soo good and stays on all day. Don't forget to choose the waterproof one, works way better. Eversince then, I don't use expensive mascara. I use Maybelline.

I only use waterproof mascara and when it finally came in waterproof I got it because the tube kind of drew me in, and I wanted to see if it would work on my eyelashes, I'm always trying to find that perfect mascara. So when I got this I tried it on right away and when I did, it only gave me length, and some volume, I usually go for volume and thickening mascaras, and this didn't delivered. So I lefted it on for the whole day and well I was watching a pretty sad movie and balled my eyes out, I went to the bathroom to check my face, the mascara had run and smudge ALL over my face. The problem with this mascara is that each time I felt my eyelashes it never felt dry. It took a pretty long time to dry, but had I know this before I balled out my eyes, I would've never have used it in the first place. So I tried it again the next day to a picnic, and when I checked my face, it smudged on me like crazy, I was just wearing mascara, no eyeliner or eye shadow. The only thing I really like about this is that its SUPER black mascara, I had this in GlamBlack, and its the darkest mascara I had, so I guess 1point for that, but just because it didn't work for me or others, don't mean it won't work for you, you can still buy it and see how you like it, you might like it, you might not. I personally don't like and it's just my opinion (:

Lash blast vs. Stiletto, I would totally recommend the stiletto because of the length it give me, and plus the container is really cool too. Not only that though, I wanna say it drys faster, and stays on longer.

I would suggest looking into some other brands though as the whole point of mineral makeup is that it has natural ingredients and a lot of makeup companies are now jumping on the mineral bandwagon but they are using the same chemicals and just adding a few minerals.
I use everyday minerals and they have only 4 (natural) ingredients and look really good.

Well, I have used Maybelline eyeliner before and it is tough. Tough as in it is hard to put on right a way but it does stay put for a good while. I f i was able to swim without it running, you should be fine!

Loreal Voluminous mascara is the abosolute best. It's great for separation and makes lashes noticeably thicker. I've been using it for months and love it. Highly recommend!!!

You will love the creamy texture of the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse but thats about it. The coverage is less than mediocre and my skin isn't even that bad. I have some acne scars and a little redness on the cheeks but this foundation couldn't cover anything. Plus its one of those foundations where people can tell you have it on.
If you are looking for a good lower end foundation, definitely try Loreal True Match Foundation. It comes in 24 shades and 3 undertones so you can find the shade that matches your skin the best. It has a smooth texture and offers very good coverage.

Maybelline's Dream Matte Mouse is great as long as you're not concerned about oil problems. Since it's pretty oily and heavy, leaving it on for too long (or, gasp, overnight!) will leave you with a face full of pimples if you're prone to breaking out.
I think the best foundation is Elisabeth Arden, also the corrector are great products.
Covers everything, even pores, scars etc.
i used to use mac and personallyy i wouldnt use it anymore once ive used dream matte. thats all i use now. its great all around.

I once went to get them dyed before I went on holiday and the beauty therapist kept dyeing and dyeing them until she realised that the reason they looked so sparse wasn't her fault - there was just nothing to work with! I have tried every single lengthening, volumising mascara I could get my hands on and Volume Shocking is absolutely the best - better than Coup de Theatre, Max Factor, Intense or Lancome.

I have so far found that Dior make a wonderful range of mascaras, I admit it costs 17 pounds but if you buy another product such as a white stick to cover blemishes or black lines under the eyes before putting on a foundation cream, they will give you a most wonderful present worth 25 pounds. Go on the net and check Dior, most girls I know really love it.

None of the above. The best is L'Oreal Volume Shocking. I have absolutely non-existent eyelashes. I once went to get them dyed before I went on holiday and the beauty therapist kept dyeing and dyeing them until she realised that the reason they looked so sparse wasn't her fault - there was just nothing to work with! I have tried every single lengthening, volumising mascara I could get my hands on and Volume Shocking is absolutely the best - better than Coup de Theatre, Max Factor, Intense or Lancome.

XXL gives excellent results as I have pretty thin and non-existent lashes
I personally use XXL by Maybeline but I noticed it doesn't really lengthen rather than making it look thicker. If you really want to make your lashes pop, try Prescriptives - LASH ENVY....it's a bit pricey but it works GREAT! Good luck!

I have so far found that Dior make a wonderful range of mascaras, I admit it costs 17 pounds but if you buy another product such as a white stick to cover blemishes or black lines under the eyes before putting on a foundation cream, they will give you a most wonderful present worth 25 pounds. Go on the net and check Dior, most girls I know really love it.

One of the best mascaras I have ever used!
It never clumped for me, and it made my eyelashes appear longer and fuller!
The only problem I has was that it flaked a little, but not too much.
I totally recommend it! If you don't like that one, then I recommend L'Oreal Voluminous Original in a dark grey bottle with gold font! They both work amazing!

I doubt it no. Mousses tend to dry out the skin which is exactly what you don't want because it will just dry out the pimples and you will get big cakey bits where your pimples are which will draw attention to them more than hiding them!
If your pimples are quite red, I would suggest using a green concealed first to help counteract the redness then a concealed which is a shade lighter than your foundation. I would then choose a primer like the smashbox photo finish primer which is full of antioxidents which all help your spots and make your skin really soft.
So, mosturise, prime, conceal, and then a nice liquid foundation- no mousse- and this should help!

It should be about $20-$25 Australian Dollars. It's about $30 here in New Zealand so yea.
If you can find Revlon Colorstay, go for that. It looks natural with WAY better coverage than the DMM. And it doesn't easily come off in water (it IS a long wearing formula) but I wouldn't call it totally waterproof. It's just an all around better option for what you're going for :D

i would go 4 maybelline because maybelline in general has better quality products. Plus maybelline is less clumpy and looks great, but takes a little longer to put on, while covergirl lashblast is easy and fast to put on but it was a little bit more clumpy, but it still looks good though, u just have to ahve a little bit of patience with it. :)

Also, it doesn't curl at all and makes my lashes look spidery. It does make them long, but doesn't give much volume. It's probably the worst mascara I've ever tried. I'm going to buy the Lash Blast next because I've heard really great things about it. If you do decide to go with the XXL, you should get the one with the straight brush so its easier to apply. Good luck!

CON: i find it kinda dry and you cant build your lashes up that great with it.
PRO: it makes them long but...
CON: they kinda look feathery.....
i also have bourjois pump up the volume which is reallly nice maybe nicer than the volume clubbing but..
PRO (of clubbing): you get really nice think lashes
CON:it takes a while to apply to get a good look (eyelash curlers!!!)
PRO:the brush is good - the maybelline brush LOOKS good but actually would be better being smaller.

yeah bourjois volume clubbing was crap for me, very clumpy.
just left my lashes all stuck together and sticky, not very nice!
i like to put 2 coats on but with volume clubbing it just made my lashes look awful.
haven't tried colossal but i work at boots and this seems very popular, it's also not too expensive.
on a personal note, i like sexy curves by rimmel. it makes my eyelashes look long and curly and doesn't clump (: plus it's in a pretty purple tube lol.

The volume clubbing has a massive brush with huge spaces between the brissles - so as a result my eyelashes were clumped together and had lumps of mascara just stuck to them. A pro however is that there is alot of mascara in the tube. Which mascara you buy depends on what way you like you lashes to look. If you like them full them buy a drier mascara like some maybelline ones. If you like them to look natural but longer then a wetter one with those new plastic bristles is best, like masterpiece/masterpiece max
I have never used maybelline colossal but bourjois mascaras are all fantastic! In my opinion they are twice as good as top end mascaras like Chanel (cost me almost double and not worth it).

CON: i find it kinda dry and you cant build your lashes up that great with it.
PRO: it makes them long but...
CON: they kinda look feathery.....
i also have bourjois pump up the volume which is reallly nice maybe nicer than the volume clubbing but..
PRO (of clubbing): you get really nice think lashes
CON:it takes a while to apply to get a good look (eyelash curlers!!!)
PRO:the brush is good - the maybelline brush LOOKS good but actually would be better being smaller.

yeah bourjois volume clubbing was crap for me, very clumpy.
just left my lashes all stuck together and sticky, not very nice!
i like to put 2 coats on but with volume clubbing it just made my lashes look awful.
haven't tried colossal but i work at boots and this seems very popular, it's also not too expensive.
on a personal note, i like sexy curves by rimmel. it makes my eyelashes look long and curly and doesn't clump (: plus it's in a pretty purple tube lol.

The volume clubbing has a massive brush with huge spaces between the brissles - so as a result my eyelashes were clumped together and had lumps of mascara just stuck to them. A pro however is that there is alot of mascara in the tube. Which mascara you buy depends on what way you like you lashes to look. If you like them full them buy a drier mascara like some maybelline ones. If you like them to look natural but longer then a wetter one with those new plastic bristles is best, like masterpiece/masterpiece max
I have never used maybelline colossal but bourjois mascaras are all fantastic! In my opinion they are twice as good as top end mascaras like Chanel (cost me almost double and not worth it).

It depends on what you consider ';better';. Concealers like Dermablend, Dermacolor by Krylon, and amazing cosmetics all make concealers that are designed for scars. These products have a much higher pigment content than your maybelline brands or drugstore brand concealers. Drugstore concealers are not rated to cover scars or tattoos. Dermablend and dermacolor are. Not all more expensive non-drugstore brands are rated for scar cover or tattoo cover but these are. Normally the biggest difference between a drugstore brand and non-drugstore brand is the ingredients. Drugstore brands use more fillers, are not as pure, and the pigment is more sheer. When i first started using makeup I did use the maybellin stick concealer and was fine with it. Younger skin doesn't have as much to cover. If you have acne or more to cover then you kinda want to steer clear of the drugstore brands and spend the money on good foundation, powder, and concealer. Buy the cheaper color cosmetics for eyes and lips but for things directly touching your facial skin opt for the purer more expensive brands to keep your skin happy. It's more expensive to fix skin problems than it is to prevent them.

Look up mineral makeup on the internet and find one that is 100% inert- meaning there are no preservatives or talc, and it never harbors bacteria. The #1 ingrediant in Bare Essentials ';Mineral Veil'; is cornstarch. You don't want that on your face. But, if you don't care about the ingrediants than I know Loreal makes an affordable mineral makeup that looks really good on. I have Bare Essentials and it seriously looks like I rolled my face in dirt! And I've tried 4 different shades. It also has a yucky pearly effect. Anyways, don't waste your money on the brand name. Look for quality ingrediants. I just ordered a kit from Everyday Minerals. It has only 4 natural ingrediants AND it was like $4-$8 for their foundations! I only use the 3 brands above as they are compltley cruelty free. Hard Candy has a 75% off also on now too.
